Grits La Fete style...AMAZING!!! Catfish fried to perfection. The wife had shrimp and grits. Loved them. Friendly staff, who checked on our table frequently. Will be a repeat diner whenever I'm on the East side.
La Fête Café – El Paso, TX La Fête Café’s new El Paso location is a promising addition to the local food scene — and while they’re still working out a few kinks (case in point: no draft beer yet), what they’re serving right now is worth your appetite and attention. The unique egg rolls are an absolute highlight — think savory BBQ beef wrapped up with crisp, golden perfection. Yes, please. They strike the ideal balance of crunchy exterior and flavorful, juicy interior. The truffle mac and cheese is rich, creamy, and indulgent on its own, but do yourself a favor and add the lobster tail. The sweetness and texture of the lobster elevate an already great dish into something truly memorable. Portions here are generous — I didn’t even come close to finishing my meal. In fact, I now have lunch ready for tomorrow, so don’t expect to leave hungry. Service is warm, the atmosphere is upbeat, and with a few additions (looking at you, draft beers), this place is poised to become a neighborhood favorite. Highly recommended for big appetites and anyone looking for flavorful spins on comfort classics.
One day I might be a food critique that who’s words will carry but for now I’ll give my opinion, The food was SPECTACULAR, it felt great to eat here, like home cooking mixed with a modern vibe when presented with your plate. My baby boy’s food came out first and that had amazing breakfast standard, he enjoyed every bite of his waffle, bacon and eggs! As for my house staple order, that to was on point! As soon as it was placed in front of me, that meal was gone!
Tried La Fete for the first time today, we ordered our food to go. We had the shrimp and grits, buffalo Mac n cheese and the bayou burger. The food is amazing, very flavorful. No need to add any additional condiments. Aside from great food customer service was exceptional. Both gentleman gave great recommendations, were nice and attentive. As a customer I greatly value good customer service and is the reason why my family and I will be going back.
La Fete Cafe is a great local small business with a real Southern feel. I tried the Jerk Chicken Mac, the Philly Cheesesteak eggrolls, and the Chicken and Waffles, and all of them were great. The Lavender Lemonade had a smooth, clean taste that tied everything together. Friendly spot with food that makes you want to come back.
I door dashed so this just a review about the food. Absolutely out of this world!! I got the fish and grits and Philly egg rolls!! Wowww!! The flavor is there, both dishes are very savory!!! I am now going to go in person soon. Absolutely exceeded my expectations!!
Loved this restaurant. GM Matthew & rest of staff were so welcoming. The food is amazing! Will definitely be back.
Local café seems to be family-owned, and the people were really friendly with good customer service. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. However, our food took about 40 minutes to come out, and the place looked a bit rundown. The floor was also greasy and a little slippery, which made it uncomfortable. With a few improvements, this place could be much better.
